SRA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

 

GENERAL

Below are the instructions for obtaining membership to the Shoreacres Recreation Association (SRA).  Included is new information concerning new members and renewals for the new fiscal year (July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026).

Signup for the new year begins June 1 and the rates will be in effect for the entire year regardless when you sign up.  

Note: If you have not renewed by July 1, 2025, your access will be discontinued.

NEW FOR 2025

1.    Dues will no longer be prorated and will be same throughout the entire year. 

2.    No requirement for non-residents to have a Shoreacres member advocate.

Member Type Annual Fee

Shoreacres Resident or Property Owner $125

Non-resident $250

Please note:

Dues are for the member and their household family members only. 

By submitting payment you are agreeing to all SRA Rules (below).

SRA RULES

Failure to follow these rules could result in loss of membership without a refund. 

  • Guests MUST BE accommodated by members at all times.

  • No unattended children under 12 years old on property after sunset.

  • Members MUST BE prepared to confirm their membership upon request. This is necessary from time to time to minimize non-members from trespassing.

  • No bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards are allowed on any pier.

  • No cast nets allowed on property.

  • All private belongings and trash must be removed when exiting the area.

  • The pier gate and boat launch-gate must remain locked at all times.

  • Boats can only be moored to the small finger pier.

  • Parking lot is for members only.

  • No belligerent behavior, loud music, or offensive conduct.

  • Be respectful and keep the area clean.

  • We encourage members to politely ask non-members to leave the property or call the non-emergency Shoreacres Police number.

PAYMENTS AND ACCESS

If you do not have a smart phone, please do not apply as there is no alternative.

Payments will be processed through the secure third-party SQUARE Payment Platform.  You will need to provide your address, email, and phone number during the payment process along with your payment information.

If you are a new resident, you will need to email your provide proof of residency (Drivers License or Utility bill) to shoreacrespier@gmail.com after your payment.

Once your membership application with payment is processed, new members should receive an email from Master Lock which will include instructions on how to create an account so you can open the smart locks at the pier using the MASTER LOCK VAULT app on your smart phone (please check your spam/junk mail if you do not see it). YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE APP TO ACCESS THE LOCKS!

If you are an existing member, there is no additional action since you have the app installed already. 

Remember this pier is managed by volunteers who are doing their best to add you in a timely manner. Updates to the membership database may take up to 3 days, so please plan in advance. You may contact us at the email below If you are unable to open the lock after 3 days.

BE SURE YOUR BLUETOOTH IS ENABLED AND YOU PRESS ANY KEY ON THE LOCK TO WAKE IT UP.
